Getting Started

Once a decision has been made to get started on a project, to ensure that all the necessary information is at hand we recommend two important steps before you proceed to a build contract.

Step One

Check with a reputable town planner on the suitability of your property for the development you propose.  Our town planners can provide you with a report on your local Councils' regulations in respect to your property and if any zoning changes will be required before the project could proceed a a guide to any costs involved.

If the report is acceptable to you and you wish to continue, go to Step Two.

To have a town planner prove a report, complete the online form below or call our office and we can complete it on your behalf.

Step One Cost        $150 inc GST

Step Two

  • Preliminary plans and elevations

  • A review of your property to identify its suitability for your proposed design in regard to issues such as perspective and site access.

  • Preparation of preliminary engineer's footing drawings to suit your proposed design

  • Preparation of the application to Council for any permits required.  (Does not include any Council fees)

  • Estimate for on-site works to connect the module to services and any other works required

  • Estimate of delivery cost

  • A geotechnical soil test to enable the engineer to design a suitable footing type and layout (Additional cost depending upon location)

Step Two Cost         $1,750.00 + GST

Cost of Steps One and Two are included as part deposit if you proceed to contract
